This 6 hour course provides an overview of Thai massage body mechanics, techniques and styles for students who wish to learn more about the art. This training satisfies the prerequisite for Clinical Thai Bodywork (CTB) enrollment for students who have no prior Thai background. We cover basic Thai energetic anatomy, use of various compression techniques including thumb, palm, elbow, knee and foot pressure, and a representative sampling of thai asanas appropriate to various parts of the body.

This course provides an overview of various techniques, but does not attempt to teach a specific treatment sequence as we do in our Level 1 Thai Massage training. We discuss and demonstrate topics from the various parts of the Thai Bodywork curriculum to give the student a hands-on experience of our program and teaching style.
